Ordinary thoughts, like those faces you don’t notice walking past you

…….

What happens to those thoughts? Those mediocre, normal thoughts? Do they just disappear or do they hide themselves, so unsure, so confused? Do you think they turn bitter? Or would that itself mean they are being remembered? What happens to those thoughts which are not given any attention at all? Do they die?

Do thoughts die? Are they buried under the mud or are they burnt or are they smoked in an airless, smoke-free corner of the mind? Is there something to mark their birth and their death? Or would that place them back in the significant, the remembered?

There is so much to see, but there is so much to forget as well.

I dont think thoughts ever die. The most innocuous thoughts have the tendency to sneak up to you when you least expect it, if it makes any sense.

Hmmm. Maybe they do die. But just rise from the graves. And then do that dance like MJ in Thriller. (“Cause this is thrilll-ER…..”
